Our annual tradition

We have a fun tradition in our family that happens every year....

Blueberry Pickin'.

Every year at this time we drive about an hour on the Blue Ridge Parkway to a place where we can enjoy the mountains and many acres of wild blueberries. This year we got close to 5 gallons total. Now we can enjoy the delicious consumption of this blue fruit all year long. Hello Antioxidants!

Hey Rhonda - what do you do with your blueberries. I found myself in a spot with about a thousand strawberries.... I'm going to freeze them after making a few strawberry shortcakes, but I was just wondering...

I'm so jealous of your secret fruit hideaways. It would be worth hiring a private detective to skulk about...

Sarah, I freeze most of the blueberries but I also make 1-2 batches of jam. So easy! If you need tips on that, let me know.
Julie...you will never catch us! HA!
